Kitten Food in Bangladesh
A kitten does most of its growing in the first year, and the food you pick during those months shapes bone, brain and immune development in ways you cannot correct later. Kitten formulas carry more protein, more fat, and added DHA compared with adult food — that is why feeding leftover adult kibble to a kitten holds it back even when the kitten seems to like it.
The kitten range here covers weaning (around 4 weeks, softened kibble or mousse), the heavy growth months, and the transition to adult food near the first birthday. Packs start from ৳85, so you can test tolerance on a small bag before committing.

Kitten Food buying guide
Match the food to the age in weeks. From 4 to 8 weeks, offer kibble softened with warm water or a wet kitten mousse. From 2 to 6 months, feed 3–4 small meals a day. From 6 to 12 months, two meals a day is enough. Switch to adult food at 12 months — earlier for cats already spayed or neutered and gaining weight fast.
Look for at least 30% protein and DHA on the label. DHA supports brain and vision development and is one of the clearest differences between a genuine kitten formula and adult food relabelled for kittens.
Keep wet food in the routine. Kittens dehydrate faster than adults and wet food is the easiest insurance. It also makes deworming and medication far easier to hide.
Do not free-feed a rescue kitten straight away. Underweight street rescues fed unlimited rich food often get diarrhoea. Start with measured small meals and build up over a week — and have a vet check for worms first, since even the best food will not help a kitten carrying a heavy parasite load.
Buy small bags. A kitten eats little, and you will be switching formulas within months. Small packs stay fresh and cost less to test.
