Watch freshness dates on arrival. Drools ships in relatively short cycles, so you should see a comfortably distant expiry. If a seller offers an unusually cheap bag, check the date before checking the price.

Introduce it over a week. Owners moving from a filler-heavy budget food to Drools sometimes see loose stool for a few days simply because the protein level jumped. A 7-day transition avoids this.
